Martha Stewart appeared to subtly shade Meghan Markle’s Netflix series, With Love, Meghan.
Stewart, 83, was asked about the series, which premiered on March 4, during an interview with Access Hollywood on Tuesday, April 22.
“Has it started?” Stewart asked. “I’ll watch an episode and see how she does,” she said, adding that she was “curious.”
The lifestyle series showed Meghan, 43, cooking, baking and crafting with celebrity friends, including her makeup artist, Daniel Martin, and actors Mindy Kaling and Abigail Spencer.
The series was renewed for a second season on March 7 after receiving mixed reviews.
“If you’re loving Season 1, just wait until you see the fun we cooked up on Season 2!” the Duchess of Sussex wrote via Instagram at the time. “Thanks for joining the party, and an endless thanks to the amazing team and crew who helped bring it all to life! @netflix.”
The show has since garnered some celebrity fans, including Vanderpump Rules alum Stassi Schroeder.
“Anyone complaining about this like they’re expecting this to be something they can relate to, that’s not the point,” Schroeder, 36, said via her Instagram Story on March 5, adding that she loved the show.
More recently, Meghan gained a supporter in Gwyneth Paltrow, who squashed rumors that the pair were feuding.
“I won’t be a pawn in some drummed-up, triangulation of women feud for your f***ing clickbait,” Paltrow said during the Thursday, April 24, episode of “The World’s First Podcast With Erin & Sara Foster.”
“Leave us out of it. Don’t do that. I will not stand for that,” the Goop founder, 52, added.
“Again, I wish Meghan nothing but the best,” she continued. “Like, it’s so great what she’s doing. I’m proud of her. Every woman deserves to go into anything they want to do.”
