After 37 years with QVC, Mary Beth Roe hosted her final show on the shopping network.
“Everything in the show tonight is something that I chose and it really is special,” Roe, 65, shared with viewers during My Time with Mary Beth — Retirement Celebration on Friday, March 21. “The people that are here tonight are super special to me.”
With assistance from longtime friend and fellow QVC host Rick Domeier, Roe sold her final products live on air, including a Dooney and Bourke tote, Philosophy shower gels, Diamonique jewelry and Corky’s BBQ seasoned wings.
She also had the opportunity to discuss her faith when she presented Valerie Parr Hill’s illuminated prayer garden mini hurricanes.

“When you do trust Him and you follow Him, then the joy of the Lord is your strength,” Roe shared while holding back tears. “Yes, it’s been hard. I cried several times today, but I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that He the Lord wants me to retire. I have such a peace and joy about it.”
In June 2024, Roe first announced she would be retiring after nearly 37 years with QVC. While it was a “tough decision” to make, the program host exclusively told Us Weekly that she relied on her strong faith to guide her.
“I have four grandkids, and I don’t want to regret missing out on their lives because I spent another year or two working,” she explained to Us. “Plus, I always said to myself I will never leave my team until I feel like my team is strong and cohesive and just a great team of hosts, and it is right now.”
Throughout her two-hour show, Roe took calls from viewers across the country who were quick to praise the longtime host for her professionalism and attention to detail.
“God bless you and your family,” one caller shared. “I love you Mary Beth even though I don’t really know you. I feel like I do.”
Roe also received pre-taped messages from family members and other QVC hosts, who teared up sharing their favorite memories of their coworker and mentor.
Before signing off for the final time, Roe — who wore Dennis Basso for her last show — shared one last heartfelt message for viewers at home.
“You’ve just been so kind and generous and loving to me, and that has meant so much,” she said. “I also want you to do something for me. If you really want to honor my legacy here at QVC, I want you to keep watching. I want you to keep shopping. … I know I’m definitely going to continue shopping here.”
With her husband by her side, Doe received a final toast from Domeier, 64, before the show came to an end.
“You’ve never forgotten that the most important people are the QVC customers,” he said. “We won’t forget the impact you’ve had over the last 37 years on everyone who’s come through these doors and your kindness and love. To the next chapter.”
