Krispy Kreme doughnuts are coming to McDonald’s restaurants in New York — and the two restaurants’ collaboration is expanding across the U.S.!
To mark the 50th anniversary of the launch of Egg McMuffin, the fast food chain will be adding some other favorites to its breakfast menu.
On Tuesday, Feb. 25, the restaurant announced in a press release that Krispy Kreme doughnuts would be available to buy at all McDonald’s locations in New York.
“Krispy Kreme Lands in the Big Apple: Nothing goes with your go-to McCafé order quite like fresh Krispy Kreme doughnuts,” the press release read. “Starting today, New Yorkers can visit their local participating McDonald’s to enjoy that perfect pairing.
The new move joins other McDonald’s in major cities like Chicago, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh and Louisville, which already serve the treats.
More than half of all McDonald’s restaurants in the United States are set to serve Krispy Kreme doughnuts by the end of the year.

Nationwide availability for the doughnuts at the restaurants is expected by the end of 2026. This comes as Bagel Sandwiches marked their nationwide debut across the U.S.
McDonald’s will also be celebrating the Egg McMuffin’s golden anniversary by serving the item for just $1 on National Egg McMuffin Day. The Egg McMuffin or Sausage McMuffin with Egg breakfast sandwich will be available to buy for just $1 on Sunday, March 2.

From March 3 through March 30, McDonald’s customers will also be given a BOGO Sausage McMuffin with Egg when making a McDelivery order in the McDonald’s App.
The new celebrations come after the franchise announced they would be expanding their menu to “launch a new chicken strip offering” this year.
The Shamrock Shake — along with Grimace’s long-lost Uncle O’Grimacey — also made a return to the drink menus earlier this month.
