Megan Thee Stallion is already bringing the heat ahead of the opening of her own Popeyes store.
On Tuesday, April 29, the rapper, 30, posted a video on TikTok and Instagram of herself walking through the area that will soon become her own Popeyes. For the occasion, she wore a sexy white crop top and blue denim cargo pants.
In addition to tan clogs, and layers of bracelets and necklaces, the musician wore a bright orange construction hat that featured a sticker with the word “Hottie.”

“Ok, so today we are visiting my Popeyes before it opens,” shared Megan at the start of the clip, before giving a look at the wall structures that are in the process of being built.
“It’s just bones, but in a few months, it will be chickens,” she proudly said. The video then cuts to a close-up of her holding a bottle of “Hottie Sauce.”
As fans may recall, Megan previously collaborated with Popeyes in 2021 to release the then-limited-edition dip that combines honey, cider vinegar, and Aleppo pepper. “Look what I got. That’s how you catch a hottie,” Megan declared.
Soon after, Megan could be seen walking through the edge of a floor that is still being built, telling the camera “I’m scared” as she slightly teetered in her baggy pants and backless shoes.
The clip then cuts to Megan speaking with a crowd of workers about the locations of the pickup window and regular window, as well as the kitchen. In another scene in the video, a man could be heard explaining that there will be “speakers all over the place.”
After Megan is seen exploring more of the area, she poses for pictures with a bright orange extinguisher as well as in front of a floor plan.
Megan gave a hint at when the restaurant will be opening in the caption, writing: “MY VERY OWN @popeyes IS OPENING THIS SUMMER HOTTIES 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I just visited my location while she’s still just bones ❤️🔥🐔 This is abt to be THEE LITTEST Popeyes.”
Popeyes announced that it approved Megan to become a Popeyes restaurant owner back in 2021, when they collaborated on the “Hottie Sauce” as well as limited edition co-branded merchandise.
“I’m appreciative of Popeyes commitment to empowering Black women and look forward to opening Popeyes Restaurants,” said Megan in a statement at the time.
