Meghan Markle is making a return to the podcast space.
The Duchess of Sussex’s podcast, “Confessions of a Female Founder,” with Lemonada Media will launch on April 8, per a press release obtained by Us Weekly. (Deadline was the first to report the news on Thursday, March 13.)
The eight-part series, which drops episodes weekly, will feature conversations with female founders and friends, who will share stories about the ups and downs they faced from starting a company to selling it.
“Confessions of a Female Founder” gives listeners a glimpse of behind-the-scenes stories from female founders, as well as Meghan’s own company, As Ever.

Meghan Markle has big plans for her new podcast deal with Lemonada Media. A source exclusively reveals in the newest issue of Us Weekly that Meghan, 42, has a “dynamic” new podcast “in the works.” The Duchess of Sussex previously released her “Archetypes” podcast — which aimed to dismantle various stereotypes facing women — in […]
“I’m so proud of what we’re creating, and the candid conversations that I’m able to have with other female founders as we unpack the twists and turns of building a business,” Meghan, 43, said in a statement. “Through my friendships and relationships, we’re able to dive into the type of insights that everyone wants to know as they’re building a business, and that I’m able to tap into as I’m building my own business with As ever.”
“As female founders ourselves, Steph and I are grateful to get a chance to build alongside Meghan the exact podcast we needed when we started Lemonada,” Lemonada’s CEO and cofounder, Jessica Cordova Kramer added, while Lemonada’s Chief Creative Officer and cofounder, Stephanie Wittels Wachs said, “Meghan is such a warm and welcoming person, and you feel that in her interviews. She creates a comfortable space for her guests to bring fascinating personal stories to the table and open up in a way they likely haven’t before publicly. Listeners can expect conversations that are way more break room than boardroom.”
The news comes one year after she formed a deal with Lemonada Media to re-release her “Archetypes” podcast and a new show. (Meghan launched her “Archetypes” podcast in August 2022 via Spotify, who terminated the deal one year later.)
“[She] wants to do mostly philanthropic-type content,” a source exclusively told Us in February 2024 of Meghan’s plans. “She considers herself too academic for entertainment-only. She doesn’t want the podcast to be celebrity-driven, though she’ll have some stars on.”
