Princess Lilibet Is Heard Praising Mom Meghan Markle’s Cooking in Adorable Video
Meghan Markle wants to make sure her kids know they’re loved.
The Duchess of Sussex shed some light into her approach to parenting and the way that she wants Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3—who she shares with husband Prince Harry—to remember her as a mother.
“I know that they’ll feel like, ‘Oh, my gosh, no one has ever loved someone more than the way our mom loved us,'” Meghan said on the April 28 episode of The Jamie Kern Lima Show. “And I put that in practice, you know, that’s part of every day of how I show up for them.”
The Suits alum went on to share that she frequently reads parenting books because, even though “a lot of stuff comes naturally,” everyone can also “all use tools” to guide them.
Meghan added with a smile, “I really want to be good at it.”
As for an example of one of the tools she uses? The 43-year-old revealed that one of her mom friends gave her the idea to create secret email addresses for each of her children to routinely send notes and photos to as a modern way of preserving memories.
