Melissa Gorga Reveals If Daughter Antonia Would Star in Bravo’s ‘Next Gen NYC’ (Exclusive)

Melissa Gorga’s daughter Antonia is focused on school instead of reality TV.

While the cast of Bravo’s upcoming reality show Next Gen NYC features some of the most influential Real Housewives stars’ sons and daughters, Melissa, 46, seemingly confirmed her only daughter hasn’t been approached just yet for the series.

“She’s still in college,” she exclusively shared with Us Weekly at Us + Maidenform’s Reality Star Style Awards party on Tuesday, April 22.

Next Gen NYC follows Ariana Biermann, Brooks Marks, Riley Burruss, Gia Giudice and more young people living, working and playing in the Big Apple.

When asked if she would let Antonia be part of the show, Melissa didn’t have a definitive answer.

“I learned never to say anything because the opposite ends up happening,” she said at The Highlight Room in New York City. “I’ll never tell my daughter not to do something, but I don’t think that’s the path she would choose at this point. I don’t know, though. You never know. I’ll let her do whatever makes her happy.”

For now, Antonia is living her best life at the University of Delaware, where she is a member of the Alpha Phi sorority.

“She’s in her element,” Melissa shared while wearing a Paola Bernardi dress from her store Envy by Melissa Gorga. “These are the best times of her life and she’s enjoying it. She loves it.”

As for mom, she’s enjoying the success of her cookie company Let’s Sprinkle by MG while The Real Housewives of New Jersey remains on pause.

Like her costars, Melissa has no idea what the future holds for the show. For now, she’s simply grateful to have her family grow up on TV. (Melissa and husband Joe Gorga also have sons Gino, 16, and Joey, 14.)

“I’m grateful for those years,” she told Us. “Obviously it’s given me the platform that I have, but we’ll see. I’m just whatever. I want to know too, just like all of you.”

As for the idea of having a spinoff focused on Melissa and her family, the “On Display” podcast host is unsure if that’s in the cards.

“I don’t know. It would have to be the right situation,” she teased. “There’s definitely things that we’ve been talking about, but it would be a little different spin. Let’s just put it that way.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey is streaming now on Peacock.
