Michelle Duggar is determined to be there when all of her grandkids are born.
On a Wednesday, April 23, episode of “The Jinger & Jeremy Podcast,” one of Michelle’s daughters, Jinger Duggar, and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, shared that Michelle, 58, has been present for nearly all of her grandchildren’s births, including when Jinger just gave birth to her and Jeremy’s third child, son Finn, in March.
“I think that she’s only missed two, but each of ours she’s been there,” Jinger, 31, who also shares daughters Felicity and Evangeline with Jeremy, said on the episode. “Finn is grand baby number 37 for my parents. And that is insane to think about.”
Jeremy, who has been married to Jinger since 2016, noted that the “incredible thing about” Michelle is that she still manages to stay with her kids for longer than just the labor and delivery process.

While awaiting the arrival of her third baby, pregnant Jinger Duggar stepped out for a shopping outing with mom Michelle Duggar. “Look at that!” Jinger, 31, said in a Tuesday, March 25, Instagram post, as Michelle, 58, held up a stack of dresses from the rack and replied, “Finding all the cute ones.” “These dresses […]
“She came a week before, she stayed a week and a half after and she’s fully committed,” Jeremy explained. “So she comes and serves. She’s, like, taking everything off of your plate every morning. I mean, she wakes up before any of us. It’s really sweet. I’m getting emotional.”
Jinger went on to say that she “probably would’ve been way more stressed out” if her mom wasn’t by her side during Finn’s arrival.
“There’s something so comforting about having my mom next to me through this season and she has such a way of keeping me calm and reminding me that this is a normal process of life that God has created,” she told Jeremy. “Even without saying it, it’s just in her demeanor. She’s so calm, so chill, so prayerful and considerate.”
Jinger is one of Michelle’s 19 kids with her husband, Jim Bob Duggar. Michelle and Jim, 59, who have been married since 1984, also share Joshua, Jana, John-David, Jill, Jessa, Joseph, Josiah, Joy-Anna, Jedidiah, Jeremiah, Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johannah, Jennifer, Jordyn and Josie.

When it comes to the Duggars, the more members, the merrier — which is why some fans have a hard time keeping track of the famous family. After tying the knot in July 1984, Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar (née Ruark) welcomed a total of 19 children, including two sets of twins, and the […]
In July 2020, Michelle opened up about switching to “grandma mode” when she’s with all of her grandkids.
“My kids joke and say, ‘You’re in grandma mode,’ and I am. I really am!” Michelle told Us Weekly at the time. “But I’m also still raising mine and I’ve got a 10-year-old. That’s the youngest now, Josie. It’s a joy because you get to enjoy the grandkids. I heard people tell me for years, ‘You’re going to love these grandkids,’ and it’s the best. It’s amazing because you get to enjoy the fun, but not all the responsibility of packing the diaper bag and remembering all the details that you need to do. It’s wonderful. It really is. It’s the best thing ever. I love having these grandkids.”
