Real estate agent Sara Burack, who appeared in the Netflix series Million Dollar Beach House, reportedly died in a hit-and-run.

According to News12 Connecticut and Greater Long Island, the 40-year-old was found unconscious on Montauk Highway on the morning of Thursday, June 19 in Hampton Bays, New York.

Police told the outlet that they are still looking for the driver involved.

According to local outlet Dan’s Papers, Southampton Town Police confirmed that Burack died from her injuries later that day at Stony Brook University Hospital. She was reportedly transported to the hospital by the Hampton Bays Volunteer Ambulance.

Officers received an alert at around 2:45 a.m. that a woman was lying unconscious near Villa Paul Restaurant, per the outlet.

Police also found her with injuries that indicated she had been a victim of a hit-and-run.

According to Dan’s Papers, Burack was a resident in Southampton.

Greater Long Island also reported that the successful broker was a former agent with Nest Seekers International, located in The Hamptons and New York City.

“My family has a commercial construction material sales business that I spent many years of my life working for,” Burack told Hamptons.com in 2020. “I have always been intrigued by real estate projects and decided to become a broker after my experience as a summer property manager in the summer house I would rent.”

She added, “I have been spending half the year in the Hamptons for the past 11 years. It was only natural to turn my love for real estate into a blossoming career.”

Per News 12 Connecticut, police have not disclosed any information on the driver’s vehicle.

PEOPLE contacted the Southampton Town Police and Hampton Bays Volunteer Ambulance for comment, but did not hear back at the time of publication.
