Missing Sisters Case: Body Recovered in Scotland River 3 Weeks After Eerie Disappearance

A tragic revelation has been made in the case of missing sisters Eliza Huszti and Henrietta Huszti

At around 7:55 a.m. local time Jan. 31, police recovered the body of a person in the River Dee, very close to the last location where the sisters—who were part of a set of triplets—were last seen Jan. 7.

“While the woman is yet to be formally identified,” police said in a statement obtained by People, “the family of Henrietta Huszti, 32, who had been reported missing in the area on Tuesday, 7 January, has been informed.”

The authorities’ statement emphasized that it still remains unclear whether they recovered the body of Henrietta or Eliza.

“Police Scotland was made aware of the body of a person seen in the River Dee near Queen Elizabeth Bridge in Aberdeen,” the statement continued. “The body has since been recovered from the water. Inquiries are at an early stage and identification is yet to take place.”
