A woman ended up winning big after putting $1 down to buy a lottery ticket — and she already knows how she wants to celebrate with her family.
“We are taking the kids to Disney World,” Jennifer Orbock of Charlotte told North Carolina Lottery officials according to a recent news release.
On Thursday, March 19, Orbock won a $707,000 jackpot while playing the Magic Winnings Vegas game.
The odds of winning the top prize? 1 in 65.5 million.
The lucky woman, who said she always thought she had “jackpot DNA,” ended up walking away from lottery headquarters with $509,543 after required federal and state tax withholdings.
