Pete Davidson is showing off his tattoo removal progress.
Davidson, 31, went shirtless on a weekend getaway with girlfriend Elsie Hewitt. On Friday, Aug. 29, the model, 29, shared photos on her Instagram account that featured herself and her boyfriend enjoying a beach vacation together.
In the photos, several of Davidson’s tattoos on his chest and arms appear to be significantly faded.
“Coupla silly geese on vacashon🪿,” Hewitt captioned the sweet post, which featured a selfie in which she held her bump and posed in a swimsuit while Davidson kissed her on the forehead.
Davidson previously revealed that he is currently undergoing the process of removing his extensive collection of 200 tattoos. Amid his journey with sobriety, Davidson told Variety in April, “I used to be a drug addict and I was a sad person, and I felt ugly and that I needed to be covered up.”
He elaborated, “So I’m just removing them and starting fresh, because that’s what I think works best for me and for my brain.”
Davidson recently shared on The Breakfast Club Power 105.1 that his “feelings changed” about the large amount of tattoos he got done “in a span of two years” in his early 20s, admitting that he’s not a fan of them now like he used to be when he was younger.
“My tattoos sucked. They were all drug-fueled,” he told the hosts of the radio show on Wednesday, Aug. 13, explaining that his time in rehab ultimately gave him second thoughts about his prior ink decisions.
However, there is one tattoo, specifically, that Davidson excitedly spoke about keeping on his body: Hillary Clinton.
“Hillary’s staying, I love Hillary. I got Hillary after she lost,” he told the radio hosts of the 2016 presidential candidate whom he got inked on his right leg in December 2017.

Hewitt first confirmed that she and Davidson are expecting a baby together on Instagram on July 16.
A source previously told PEOPLE that Davidson and Hewitt “cannot wait to welcome their baby.”
“He’s grown up a lot, and he’s so excited about this next chapter as a dad,” the insider said. “He’s more intentional about who he lets into his life now, and with Elsie, it was never about headlines or the spotlight, and that’s exactly what he needs.”
