Nicole Kidman is happy to have her younger daughters follow in her footsteps — but that doesn’t mean she has no concerns.
The actress spoke with Vogue for a new interview and shared that watching her two younger daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, begin to break out on their own has been exciting, but also “frightening.”
“It’s very frightening for me,” Kidman admits. “[But] I started working at 14, so I don’t really have a leg to stand on.”
She also shared her advice for dealing with haters, judgment and online scrutiny.
“Literally walk away from it,” the mom of four says. “Because it will fell you. It will destroy you.”

Kidman shares her two younger daughters with estranged husband Keith Urban, 57. She shares daughter Bella, 32, and son Connor, 30, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.
On Oct. 6, the Holland actress made her first public work appearance since news broke of her split from Urban — and she debuted a major hair transformation.
Kidman stepped out for the Chanel runway show during Paris Fashion Week with some fresh bangs, posing alongside her two younger daughters. Both Sunday Rose and Faith matched their mom’s casual look in low-key outfits. Kidman’s niece, Lucia Hawley, also joined the trio.
Earlier in October, Sunday Rose posted a clip of her walking during Paris Fashion Week on Instagram, which marked the first time she’s shared anything since news of her parents’ divorce broke.
The teenager shared a clip and a photo of herself on the runway, writing, “j’adore dior🩶SS26,” in the caption. She also tagged Dior, creative director of the brand Jonathan Anderson and others on the post.
On Sept. 30, Kidman officially filed for divorce from Urban in Nashville courts after news of their separation came to light the day prior.
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, the former couple have agreed to a parenting plan that sees the actress becoming the primary residential parent of their two daughters.
Kidman will get 306 days with her daughters while Urban will get 59 days with them — meaning the Babygirl star has more than five times the amount of days as her estranged husband.
They’ve also worked out a parenting schedule and will make major decisions regarding their two girls together. Neither party will receive monthly child support, but rather an “other” agreement they worked out in which Urban has “already prepaid all child support obligations.”
Kidman and Urban have also agreed not to speak badly of each other or other members of their family, according to the agreement. They will “encourage each child to continue to love the other parent and be comfortable in both families,” it stipulates. Both are also mandated to attend a parenting seminar within 60 days of the divorce filing.
