Nicole Kidman is ringing in Mother’s Day 2025 with throwback photos of her and Keith Urban’s two daughters.
“My mother and my daughters in Uluru, beautiful memories…always 💕,” Kidman, 57, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, May 11. “Happy Mother’s Day.”
Kidman and Urban — who tied the knot in 2006 — share daughters Sunday, 16, and Faith, 14. The Babygirl actress is also mom to her and Tom Cruise’s children, Bella, 32, and Connor, 30, whom they adopted after she suffered a pregnancy loss. (Kidman and Cruise, 62, were married from 1990 to 2001.)
“From the minute Tom and I were married, I wanted to have babies,” Kidman told Vanity Fair in 2007. “And we lost a baby early on, so that was really very traumatic. And that’s when we would adopt [our daughter] Bella.”
Cruise, for his part, made a rare comment about Kidman while recalling their 1999 movie, Eyes Wide Shut, in Sight and Sound magazine’s June cover story.
“I flew out to his house, and I landed in his backyard. I read the script the day before and we spent the day talking about it. I knew all of his films,” Cruise recalled, referring to director Stanley Kubrick, who died in 1999 at the age of 70. “Then it was basically he and I getting to know each other. And when we were doing that, I suggested Nicole play the role [of Alice]. Because, obviously, she’s a great actress.”
Despite their famous parents, Bella and Connor have managed to stay out of the spotlight through the years. Sunday and Faith, meanwhile, have made several public appearances.
Sunday made her runway debut at Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2025 Paris Fashion Week show in October 2024. Before Sunday’s milestone moment, Kidman recalled having a conversation with her daughter about how she could attend a show at a certain age.

“She’s about to turn 16. That’s what I told her, when she was 16 she was allowed to come to a show,” Kidman explained in an August 2024 interview with Vogue Australia. “She’s wanted to go for a long time. That was her foray into it, and that was it. I’m like no, no more. It’s a push-pull. I don’t want to hold her back because I don’t want to be coddling her.”
In April 2024, Kidman gave a sweet shout-out to her family while accepting an award at the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award Gala.
“There’s also the most important thing, love. Big, big love. And then right there is the love of my life, and the loves of my life,” she said at the time. “My daughters have never been anywhere publicly with me on a red carpet, tonight was their first night, so they’re here, Sunday and Faith.”
