You’ll never see Niecy Nash-Betts getting cheek filler.
Speaking with Interview Magazine on Thursday, Nov. 6, the Reno 911! alum, 55, opened up about her personal style — and why she never wants to get filler or Botox during her career.
“I’m not above it if it works for you,“ she told the outlet. “But I’m in a situation where I really have to be able to move my face. You can’t be in a remake of Roots with your cheekbones up to your eyebrows.”
The star also spoke about aging as she reaches the midway point of her 50s, joking, “Don’t I look like I got Benjamin Button’s disease?“
“Oh, I’ve been having more fun now,“ she said, adding, “I’m aging backwards. I live a very happy and satiated lifestyle. I could work a 16-hour day and still come home and make time to get in a hot tub and drink champagne.”
Nash-Betts has been candid about her style in the past. In September, she spoke exclusively to PEOPLE at her Mardi Gras-themed fifth wedding anniversary celebration with her wife, singer-songwriter Jessica Betts — and shared that she nearly had a major wardrobe malfunction.
“I had a big wardrobe malfunction today,” the All’s Fair star said. “I got dressed and then I thought, ‘Oh, what gal doesn’t need a little bronzer on her chest.’ ”
“But the bronzer top was kind of stuck. And so when I pressed it, it exploded. And I had bronzer all over this dress and I cried,” Nash-Betts told PEOPLE.
Her all-white, strapless minidress with a plunging, structured neckline designed by Matthew Christopher now had bronzer splattered all over it.
The Scream Queens star says she contacted Christopher and Lisa Litt from Lili Bridals immediately.

“I was like, ‘You guys, I ruined this dress and I’m crying.’ They were like, ‘We will be there in 20 minutes. Send us a picture of the dress,’ ” she recalled of how they “saved the day” and ended up staying for the party.
Nash-Betts told PEOPLE that her wife also helped her keep her composure.
“And then my better half was like, ‘It’s going to be okay. Calm down. Everything’s going to be all right,’ ” she said, playfully mocking her wife by imitating the 43-year-old’s voice as they sat beside each other during the interview. “And I said, ‘Is it?’ And it was.”

“That’s my homegirl,“ Nash-Betts said of Kardashian, 45. “She is one of the hardest-working women I know. I have literally seen her on FaceTime on one phone with a baby, a computer on her lap, running her business, with a law book on the side, trying to study for the bar, along with a script and an acting coach. She is a professional multitasker. Who else is going to do it?”
