Nikki Garcia is just fine with the current state of her dating life.
In a new episode of SiriusXM’s The Nikki & Brie Show hosted by twins Nikki and Brie Garcia, both 41, the sisters discussed whether or not a recent outing Nikki had with a potential love interest counted as a “date.”
The reason for debate? Sister Brie was also in attendance.
Brie started teasing her sister that she hasn’t “been on a date,” to which Nikki clapped back: “I have been on a date. One of the dates I’ve been on, you were there.”
Brie rolled her eyes as she questioned if that meet-up counted.
“I mean, yeah, I went to dinner with the guy and you were sitting right there,” Nikki said.
Still doubtful of the romance level for the so-called “date,” Brie told her sister that it was more-so “like friends going to dinner.”
Nikki, who filed for divorce from former Dancing with the Stars pro Artem Chigvintsev in September 2024 after two years of marriage, said despite what her sister thought, it was a date because she and the mystery man had a special connection.
“I made out with him later, so was it friends going to dinner?” Nikki asked.
Once her sister disclosed those details, Brie broke down why she felt the meeting that led to a make-out session didn’t count as a romantic date: “You can’t say your first date with a man was with me there.”
However, Nikki still disagreed, to which Brie laughed as she told her if they tag along to each other’s dates, they could be labeled, “those creepy twins.”
Nikki confessed that she “made” Brie attend as a “third wheel,” which helped Brie vet her sister’s potential love interest on the spot.
“And the good thing is I did question him a lot and I actually did not dig him. I was, like, looking at her like, ‘No,’” Brie said. Nikki then cut in to end that portion of their conversation by saying, “We’re gonna stop right there.”
Although the guy didn’t have Brie’s seal of approval, Nikki claimed, “I don’t need the one right now.”
In June, the WWE star gave an update on her love life, saying she wasn’t “going to waste time and energy” dating because she was “just too tired.”
Nikki and Chigvintsev, 43, settled their divorce in November 2024.
The former couple welcomed a baby boy named Matteo Artemovich on July 31, 2020.
At the time, Nikki shared the sweet news on social media, writing, “7/31/2020 💙 Our baby boy is here and we couldn’t be HAPPIER and more in LOVE! Everyone is safe and healthy.”

Just one month after their divorce was finalized, she opened up about their split for the first time on an episode of The Nikki & Brie Show.
“We both are very focused on Matteo, and that’s the great thing. I pray every day [that] we’ll be great friends,” she said in the December 2024 podcast episode. “I don’t think that’ll happen anytime soon, but I pray for it because that’s what Matteo deserves.”
