Offset and Cardi B are making custody moves.
Amid the estranged couple’s ongoing divorce proceedings, the “Ric Flair Drip” rapper has requested joint legal custody of their kids Kulture, 6, Wave, 3, and a 5-month-old daughter whose name has not been shared publicly, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
Despite the request, Offset (real name Kiari Cephus) did ask in the filing that his ex’s home be the kids’ primary residence, per the outlet.
Additionally, the ex-Migos member also asked that he and Cardi (real name Belcalis Almanzar) be responsible for their own legal fees, TMZ reported.
E! News has reached out to reps for Offset and Cardi B for comment but has not heard back.
The pair, who wed in 2017, have faced several ups and downs since Cardi filed for divorce in July. Just days after the “I Like It” rapper declared that she and Offset—who is also dad to three older children from previous relationships—were in a “peaceful” place and “really healthy co-parenting” in December, he seemingly criticized her in a since-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter).
