Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey are celebrating their first wedding anniversary.
The former Miss Universe, 33, and San Francisco 49ers player, 29, got married in Rhode Island, on June 29, 2024. On Sunday, the pair — who are expecting their first child together — celebrated a year of marriage by each posting sweet tributes on social media reflecting on their big day and looking forward to the future.
“One year down, with something new, Soon it’s more than just us two 🤍,” Culpo wrote in the caption of her Instagram post alongside a compilation of film footage from her ceremony, which took place in a chapel in Watch Hill, a coastal neighborhood in the town of Westerly.
The video featured heartfelt moments such as the couple walking down the aisle, sharing their first kiss as husband and wife at the altar and feeding each other wedding cake.
“Best day ever, best year ever… happy anniversary to the love of my life. So so thankful,” Culpo continued, tagging McCaffrey next to a white heart emoji.
“One year down, and a lifetime to go! Love you both so much,” McCaffrey’s mom, Lisa, commented. “Happy Anniversary!”
McCaffrey also marked the anniversary on Instagram by reposting his wife’s reel on his Instagram Story with a red heart emoji and sharing seven Polaroid pictures from the wedding on his page.
The first instant film photo featured him holding Culpo, who was leaning back into a bush of purple hydrangeas. In the second photo, the couple smile in their wedding attire while sitting in the back of a white getaway car. Other photos show them laughing and even sharing a kiss at different moments throughout their ceremony and reception.
“Happy One Year Anniversary to The Love and My Life! You’re Going To Be The Best Mom❤️,” the NFL player wrote.
Back in March, Culpo and McCaffrey announced that they are expecting their first baby together. They shared the news in a post on Instagram, with Culpo writing, “Next chapter, motherhood 🤍,” alongside black-and-white photos from her maternity shoot.
As her due date approaches, Culpo opened up to PEOPLE about how she’s feeling ready to meet her little one.
“I feel as ready as I will ever feel,” Culpo said in May. “I still have to do all of the nitty-gritty [things like] pack the hospital bag and things like that. But yes, I feel very excited and just mostly grateful to be where I am in my pregnancy.”

At the time, Culpo told PEOPLE that she’s most excited for the newborn phase.
“I love the 8 to 10 week age,” she said. “Eight to 12 really because it’s when they start smiling and they can see you, but they’re still so cuddly and sleeping on your chest. The best bonding time, in my opinion.”
“So I’m very excited for the newborn phase, which I know is daunting. And maybe as a new mom, I’ll change my mind. It’s my first time at this, so we’ll see if I change my mind on that,” Culpo admitted. “But I do really love that cuddly age. And then when they start smiling, it’s so special.”
