Olivia Culpo is a mom!
The model, 33, welcomed her first baby, a girl named Colette Annalise McCaffrey, with her husband Christian McCaffrey, 29. The couple announced the news in a joint Instagram post shared on Sunday, July 13.
In the post — which was captioned simply with the baby’s name and a white heart emoji — black-and-white photos show Olivia in the hospital with her NFL star husband as she gives birth.
“The scariest and most rewarding of all experiences,” Culpo wrote on her Instagram Stories alongside a color photo of herself during the birth. “As soon as he came into the room I felt most at peace. Look at the grip.”
Although the couple opted not to show Colette’s face in their photos, one picture shows the newborn girl laying on a fluffy blanket with her tiny hand curled up into a fist. Another photo shows McCaffrey gazing down at Colette in her bed.
“Colette is so lucky to have the best daddy in the world,” Culpo wrote alongside the snap on her Instagram Stories. “A love like no other.”
Another shot in the Instagram carousel shows Culpo lovingly looking at her baby girl as she sits in bed, her hair up in a slick ponytail.

Culpo and the San Francisco 49ers running back first announced they were expecting their first baby together in March, sharing the news on Instagram. “Next chapter, motherhood 🤍,” Culpo wrote alongside black-and-white photos from her maternity shoot.
The model could be seen wearing a flowy dress, kneeling as she placed a hand under her belly. In a second photo, Culpo turned toward the camera and placed a hand on her hip.
While speaking to PEOPLE in March, the newly minted mom opened up about her excitement to become a first-time mom. At the time, she and her husband didn’t know the sex of the baby, but she shared that they were both looking forward to the journey ahead.
“I’m so excited and grateful to be pregnant. I’ve been dreaming of this for a long time,” she said in March. “It’s very special.”
As for McCaffrey, Culpo said her husband was “made to be a dad.” “He’s so excited,” she added. “I think he’s gonna really enjoy it and be just the best.”

During the conversation, Culpo shared that she has learned from her pregnancy journey just how much she needs her mother.
“I feel like I have a lot of respect for my mom and one thing that I realized through this experience of becoming a mom is actually how much I’ve needed my mom, which I didn’t anticipate,” she told PEOPLE. “She’s just been so helpful to me, especially in the beginning of my pregnancy. That was really tough. It’s just kind of an interesting thing, and I’m just so grateful to her.”
“It’s just an ironic thought that you need your mom the most when you’re about to become a mom,” she added. “That’s just genuinely how I felt.”
