In celebration of the return of The Bachelor, often marked by pizza-filled watch parties, Papa Johns is offering “a bold, new twist on the traditional first impression rose” — a free pizza to anyone who has the same name as the recipient of this season’s first impression rose.
To claim the free pizza, hungry fans should join Papa Rewards — if they haven’t already — and check the Papa Johns Instagram for updates throughout the night of Monday, Jan. 27 for updates. If your name — and spelling — is the same as the woman who gets the first impression rose, the pizza brand will fill your account with Papa Dough rewards points so you can claim the free pizza.
The 29th season of The Bachelor will premiere on Monday, featuring Bachelor Grant Ellis, who competed on Jenn Tran’s season on The Bachelorette in 2024. He was sent home during just before hometowns — and just after he told Tran he was falling in love with her.
Ellis is a former professional basketball player originally from New Jersey. A day trader, Ellis spends his free time watching the Lakers, bowling, and singing karaoke, according to his ABC Bachelor bio.

“Ellis is eager to embark on a journey filled with romance, adventure, and genuine connections,” ABC said in a statement. “He hopes to find a partner who shares his values of loyalty, humor and a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.”
In a video on Instagram, Ellis said he’s looking for a “a love that’s kind and understanding,” and for a partner who’s adventurous, affectionate and loving.
