After Kelce, 36, confirmed that he was signing a one-year deal with Kansas City for his 14th season in the NFL, the tight end took to Instagram to celebrate the exciting news. "Let's get this thing rockin'," Kelce wrote in his caption on Thursday, March 12 alongside an Instagram Reel showing moments with his teammates, including Mahomes, 30.

"LFGGGGGGG!!!," Mahomes wrote in the comments on Kelce's post, an acronym for "Let's f—ing go."

In the video Kelce posted, the tight end was seen shouting, "Great ball," at Mahomes in one clip, while others showed moments he shared with teammates like Chris Jones and Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.

"I still love going to work, putting on the pads, grinding it out and just playing the game, you know, and I think my best opportunity was playing for the Chiefs yet again and running this thing back with Pat Mahomes and Coach Reid. And got my guy Eric Bieniemy, Coach Bieniemy back, and there’s a lot of pieces in Kansas City that I just I absolutely love and I can't wait to get back in the building with," said Kelce.
