While Patrick Mahomes attempts to clinch his third consecutive Super Bowl trophy, mom Randi Mahomes will be watching alongside his three young children.

Randi told Page Six at the 2025 NFL Honors on Thursday, February 6, that she plans to be on “grandma duty” during the game’s duration.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick, 29, shares three kids with wife Brittany Mahomes: Sterling, 3, Bronze, 2, and Golden, 3 weeks. The Super Bowl on Sunday, February 9, will be baby Golden’s first-ever football game.

The Mahomes crew will be cheering on the Chiefs from a “really big” suite at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome, according to Randi.

“[I am] the most excited ’cause all three are gonna be there,” she gushed of the kids. “I may or may not watch the game, but I will be holding the grandbabies!”

According to Randi, Patrick “really [wanted] all three” cheering him on from the sidelines.

“It’s special for him,” Randi added.

Both Sterling and Bronze are fixtures at their dad’s NFL matchups, including the divisional playoffs alst month.

“These are moments I’ll have with my family for the rest of my life,” Patrick told reporters in January. “It’s a growing family, but [I] hope we are done growing for a little while. It’s cool that I’m able to play in these big games and the Kansas City community has brought me in to be a part of their family.”

Speaking at a pregame press conference earlier this week, Patrick further noted that he hoped the Chiefs could “get [Golden] a win” for her first game.

“I’m excited for her to be able to come,” the quarterback said on Tuesday, February 4. “It’s always motivating whenever you have another baby. I mean, just because I want them to have the same experiences that the other two have.”

Patrick, who has already won three Super Bowls with the Chiefs, will face off against Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts. The big game is a rematch of the 2023 championship, which the Chiefs ultimately won.

Should the Chiefs win on Sunday, it will be the first time that an NFL team has proved victorious at three consecutive Super Bowls. Randi, however, is not focused on the potential record just yet.

“I’m really trying not to think as much on it. I just try to think about other things, and then when I get here, ‘I’m like, ‘Oh, my goodness,’” Randi added to Page Six. “It’s, like, I take it day to day. But when it gets down to this, it’s, like, hour to hour.”
