Phil Rosenthal is officially back with a brand-new season of Somebody Feed Phil, premiering this June on Netflix — and he’s hungrier than ever.

The food and travel series, now heading into its eighth season, will once again follow the Everybody Loves Raymond alum, 65, as he eats his way through a fresh lineup of mouth-watering destinations. This time around, fans can join the Emmy-nominated star on his culinary adventures through Amsterdam, Tbilisi, Sydney, Adelaide, Manila, Las Vegas, Guatemala, San Sebastian, and Boston.

Known for his humor, heart, and unfiltered joy when trying new dishes, Rosenthal has turned Somebody Feed Phil into one of Netflix’s longest-running unscripted series — and a fan favorite for food lovers everywhere.

This summer, fans in Los Angeles can also get a literal taste of Phil’s world as he’s opening a classic old-school American diner called Max and Helen’s, named in honor of his late parents, beloved regulars on the show who charmed viewers with their warmth and wit.

Along the way, the show has racked up some impressive accolades, including a 2022 Critics’ Choice Real TV Award for “Best Travel/Adventure Show,” a 2024 nomination in the same category, and a James Beard Award nod for “Visual Media — Long Form.”

The show is produced by Lucky Bastards and a494, with Rosenthal, his brother Rich Rosenthal, and John Bedolis executive producing, alongside Christopher Collins and Lydia Tenaglia.

Of course, the food series isn’t Rosenthal’s only claim to fame. The multi-hyphenate talent is also the mind behind the classic CBS sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond, which won 16 Emmy Awards during its nine-season run.

He’s also a two-time New York Times bestselling author and recently co-wrote a charming kids’ book with his 20-something-year-old daughter, Lily, titled Just Try It: A Phil and Lil Book.

Plus, the proud dad, who shares Lily and his son Ben with his wife Monica, is serving up more delicious content in his forthcoming cookbook, Phil’s Favorites, a curated collection of his go-to dishes, set to release Nov. 4.

Catch up on past episodes of Somebody Feed Phil now on Netflix — and get ready to join Phil for another season of unforgettable flavors and friendly faces in Season 8, which releases on June 18.
