Aaron Rodgers made a major announcement on his first official day as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers: he’s married!
Rodgers, 41, was asked about the mysterious black band on his left finger during a meeting with reporters at Steelers minicamp on Tuesday, June 10.
“It’s a wedding ring,” the quarterback said with a smile, revealing the marriage happened “a couple months ago.”
Rodgers did not reveal the identity of his partner, but he said he was dating a woman named Brittani during an appearance on ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show in December 2024.
The former Green Bay Packer first sparked engagement rumors at the 2025 Barnstable Brown Gala in Louisville, Kentucky, on May 2, when the NFL star was seen wearing the same ring on the same finger.
He was also seen wearing the same ring while signing his Steelers contract on Monday, June 9.
Rodgers divulged a few details about his relationship during an April appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.
“I’m in a different phase of my life,” Rodgers said at the time. “I’m 41 years old. I’m in a serious relationship. I have off-the-field stuff going on that requires my attention. I have personal commitments not knowing what my future was going to look like after last year that are important to me.”
He added, ““I have a couple of people in my inner circle who are really battling some difficult stuff. I have a lot of things that are taking my attention and have, beginning in January, away from football. That’s been where I’ve been focusing most of my attention.”
McAfee, 37, hinted that he and Rodgers had spoken off-air about the specific issues Rodgers was referencing. But Rodgers balked when McAfee pressed him to reveal some details to help the public better understand what he was dealing with.

“They don’t need [to know],” Rodgers said. “My personal life is my personal life. There’s a sensitivity to some of the stuff that’s going on, for sure. It’s very important to me.”
Rodgers was previously engaged to actress Shailene Woodley in February 2021 before the couple split the following year.
The quarterback also previously dated actresses Olivia Munn and Jessica Szohr, as well as race car driver Danica Patrick.
Rodgers signed a one-year contract with the Steelers worth $13.65 million on Monday. The deal includes $5.85 million worth of playtime and team performance incentives.
