Pregnant Rihanna and ASAP Rocky may not be done after baby No. 3!
The “Lift Me Up” singer revealed her pregnancy on Monday, May 5, just hours before the 2025 Met Gala and debuted her baby bump on the red carpet of fashion’s biggest night in New York City.
Inside the event, Rihanna, 37, and ASAP, 36, received plenty of congratulations on their impending arrival, including a sweet interaction with fellow pop star Ciara, 39, and her NFL star husband, Russell Wilson, 36.
According to Ciara, who was photographed gently touching Rihanna’s baby bump at the event, there has already been talk of expanding the family even further.

“Oh my gosh, it was so sweet running into her. I just have to shout her out ‘cos I’m so proud of her,” Ciara said on the Tuesday, May 6, episode of Sherri. “This is her third baby she’s having now.”
“We were cracking up talking about … [Wilson] started talking about cinco because you know I have four [kids]. We start talking about quatro for her, but she got to get through the tres first, the third baby,” Ciara described the conversation between the proud parents. “Straight mommy talk.”
Rihanna and Rocky are already the parents of sons RZA, 2, and Riot, 21 months. Us Weekly confirmed on Monday that the “Umbrella” singer is expecting baby No. 3. Later in the evening, Rihanna confirmed the news via a photo shared by photographer Miles Diggs (a.k.a. Diggzy).
Before Rihanna made her Met Gala appearance in a Marc Jacobs design accentuating her baby bump, Rocky couldn’t help gushing about his partner, telling the Associated Press, “It feels amazing, you know. It’s time that we show the people what we was cooking up. And I’m glad everybody’s happy for us ’cause we definitely happy, you know.”
Later, Rihanna gave an update on how she’s feeling amid her latest pregnancy.
“I’m good. I’m shockingly feeling OK and not too overwhelmed at the moment,” the Grammy winner told Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. “I mean, at first it was kinda like, ‘Ah!’ And I’m tired, but then I’m excited.”
When asked whether this baby will delay the release of her long-awaited ninth album, Rihanna joked that she might press pause on releasing any visuals but said her pregnancy isn’t affecting her pipes.
“No, maybe a couple videos, but I can sing!” she quipped.
