Princess Eugenie was spotted out again in London this week as her sister, Princess Beatrice, and mother, Sarah Ferguson, remain out of the public eye following the arrest of her father, the former Prince Andrew.
Less than a week after the former Duke of York was arrested and detained by police for 11 hours on suspicion of misconduct in public office, his younger daughter, 35, stepped out in Central London, looking pensive as she carried a drink and a sandwich from the popular chain Joe & The Juice.
The outing came two days after Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, were photographed getting coffee in Notting Hill.
“She was chatting away with someone she knows and seemed very relaxed,” a source told PEOPLE of the outing. “It was all very casual.”
“She was laughing and joking,” the source added. “She looked happy and at ease — not like someone trying to hide.”

Eugenie's mother is reportedly focusing on self-care amid the fallout over newly revealed evidence tied to her and Andrew's relationship with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Ferguson, 66, was spotted at a remote wellness retreat in Donegal, Ireland, according to The Daily Mail. The outlet reported that the Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa is a favorite of hers; in 2024, she posted a TikTok about how the Irish coast was a personal place of refuge.
"I find things get sometimes overwhelming, I just try and take myself off to the most beautiful, wonderful blast of fresh air," she said in the video.
Ferguson has kept a low profile following the news of Andrew's arrest. As of late last month, PEOPLE understood that she planned to spend time abroad as she considered her next moves amid the Epstein fallout. A representative for the former Duchess of York had no comment about her location.

A source recently told PEOPLE that Beatrice and Eugenie have been trying to "stay away" from the controversy that led to their father being stripped of his royal titles and forced to give up his longtime Windsor home last fall.
"They have young children, and this is their grandfather — their focus is on protecting their own children from this," the source said.

Beatrice and Eugenie are “putting pieces of the puzzle together in real time," the source said, "and realizing they may have been used."
"That has to feel like a complete betrayal. They’re heartbroken — but a dad is still your dad, and a mom is still your mom. Love for a parent isn’t a light switch. It’s an incredibly painful and introspective moment for them," the source continued.
