Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ daughter is already a pro at being on set.
The actress, 42, spoke with E! News at the premiere of her new movie Heads of State and shared that her 3-year-old daughter Malti Marie, whom she shares with husband Nick Jonas, was by her side as she filmed on location.
“She was with me filming this whole movie,” Chopra Jonas told the outlet. “We were on location in Provence, and while she was on set, she and her grandma would go to this bakery to get croissants and bring them home. She had the most amazing time while we were filming this movie.”
Malti even “loved the set” so much that she ended up calling craft services “crafty” just like the other actors. “It was so cute,” Chopra Jonas said.

During a June 24 appearance on Good Morning America, Chopra Jonas opened up about being a mom to her toddler daughter and shared that Malti is partly convinced that she’s a Disney princess.
While she said that Malti is an “adrenaline junky” who enjoyed her first ride on a rollercoaster recently, Chopra Jonas added that the toddler is “such a girly girl” and a huge fan of princesses.
In fact, Chopra Jonas said that Malti is such a big fan of Moana that she “insists” she is named after the beloved Disney princess.
“She introduces herself as Malti Marie Moana Chopra Jonas. She insists she’s Moana. She insists it’s her name, like officially her name in school. She says, ‘I’m Malti Marie Moana,’ ” Chopra Jonas said to laughs.
Earlier this month, the proud mom appeared on an episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and shared the adorable way her daughter Malti identifies her dad and uncles’ (Kevin and Joe Jonas) band, the Jonas Brothers.
“[Bruno Mars and Rosé’s] ‘APT’ is her favorite song, by the way,” she told host Jimmy Fallon, after admitting her daughter has diverse taste in music. When the late-night host asked if she listens to any Jonas Brothers’ songs, Chopra Jonas shared, “I mean she doesn’t identify them, but she calls them the Donut Brothers.”
The musician, 32, and the actress welcomed their first child together on Jan. 15, 2022. During a 2023 interview with Elle, Chopra Jonas told the outlet that Malti has her “wrapped around her finger.”
“I don’t even know how I’ll ever discipline her because I just don’t have it in me,” she said. “I was so close to losing her so many times that she can get away with anything, and I just want to see her happy.”
