"I LOVED every second of it!" the chef gushed on Instagram

Prue Leith is taking her skills from the kitchen to the runway.
On Tuesday, Feb. 17, the 86-year-old chef and former Great British Baking Show judge made a splash during her runway walk at the Vin + Omi show during London Fashion Week.
She took the catwalk in an orange patterned suit with pink ruffle details on the collar and cuffs. She also wore her hair in a whimsical style with a variety of flowers placed on long spokes, giving the effect that they're blooming from her head.
Leith celebrated the special moment on Instagram, sharing a behind-the-scenes video that included a clip showing her smiling and waving to the audience as the walked the runway.
"On the eve of my 86th birthday, I was invited to walk again at London Fashion Week for @vinandomi," she wrote in the caption. "As always, I LOVED every second of it! My suit was made from the worlds first fabric made from holly from @sandringhamestate"

Fans were quick to hype Leith up in the comments.
"Go Prue! You show ‘em how it’s done. 🔥❤️😘" one wrote.

Season 15 Great British Baking Show contestant Mike Wilkins also shared some encouraging words, writing: "Absolutely adore! The flower headpiece especially!! Prue, you are an inspiration to us all!"

Leith's runway moment comes nearly one month after she announced her departure from the popular baking competition show, which she joined as a judge in season 8.
“After nine series and judging more than 400 challenges, I have decided to step down as a judge on The Great British Bake Off,” she wrote in an Instagram post shared on Wednesday, Jan. 21. “Bake Off has been a fabulous part of my life for the last nine years, I have genuinely loved it and I’m sure I’ll miss working with my fellow judge Paul, Alison and Noel and the teams at Love Productions and Channel 4.”
Leith added that it feels like “the right time” for her to step away, noting, “I’m 86 for goodness sake!”
As for her future plans, Leith shared, “There’s so much I’d like to do, not least spend summers enjoying my garden.”
She also noted that she feels “lucky” to have been a part of the show, adding, “Whoever joins the team, I’m sure they’ll love it as much as I have."
