When Jennifer Tilly joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as a “friend of,” she brought along her expansive and extravagant wardrobe, featuring many luxury accessories.
From a Louis Vuitton handbag shaped like a boat to one-of-a-kind jewelry, Tilly’s style even impressed her fellow Bravo stars. At one point, Erika Jayne joked during a season 14 confessional that the Oscar nominee has “good s***.”
“I collect what I love,” Tilly told Town & Country in January 2025. “The pieces were historical but not to my taste. I like big, sculptural pieces.”
Tilly’s collection, stored securely via a safety deposit bank vault, also includes vintage standouts once worn by the likes of Elizabeth Taylor and Cole Porter’s wife, Linda Lee Porter, that she’s picked up at various auctions.
“I like things that belonged to famous people, powerful women and movie stars,” Tilly added to Town & Country. “And often the stories associated with the pieces are about those forging their own way. And I wear it all. It gives me joy and feels like a statement of who I am.”
Tilly also follows Taylor’s mindset about owning such beloved baubles.
“She always reminded everyone that she didn’t see her jewelry as trophies. ‘We are only temporary custodians of beauty,’ she said, and I agree,” Tilly told the outlet. “The pieces I have now, I’m just taking care of them.”
