Remi Bader got real about the side effects of her weight loss surgery.
The model and influencer, 30, opened up about her “brutal” recovery from the procedure, called a single anastomosis duodenal-ileal bypass with sleeve gastrectomy (SADI-S), via Instagram on Thursday, March 26, sharing she lost “a lot” of her hair.
While sharing screenshots of her DM’s with fans, one asked her secret to keeping her tresses “looking fab” through the recovery, which is known to cause hair thinning.
Bader replied, “Oh I lost so so much hair. Chunks daily. I think I always just had A LOT of hair so I notice more than others do but it’s slowly growing back now.” When she shared the screenshot via her Stories, Bader posted pics of clumps of her hair. “This started happening for me probably 3 months in and went on for a few months until I started focusing on having enough protein and my body started adjusting,” she wrote.
