Erika Jayne had a lot to say about estranged husband Tom Girardi — and his legal issues — during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 reunion.
“Do you ever think of visiting him?” host Andy Cohen asked when putting Erika, 53, in the hot seat during part 3 of the reunion on Tuesday, April 15.
“I thought of visiting him — this is going to sound cold — but when he passes away,” Erika admitted. “There’s nothing to say to this person because he’s not talking clearly. He’s not there, so there’s nothing for us to say to one another.”
Erika was married to Tom, 85, for 21 years before she filed for divorce in November 2020. (But more on that later.) One month after their split, the former couple’s legal woes went public with both Erika and Tom being accused of fraud and embezzlement. Erika was dismissed from the case in January 2022.
“I’ll never get answers to the questions that I still have,” Erika continued during Tuesday’s reunion. “It’s so very sad, why would I? … I’ve worked really hard to make my peace with it, move through the grief and let go. I feel like if I were to … nothing good would come of this.”
In August 2024, Tom was found guilty of embezzling more than $15 million from various clients throughout his years as a lawyer. Tom has yet to be sentenced and is facing additional federal charges in Chicago. (Tom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in March 2021 and disbarred in August of that same year.)
Erika has always kept things vague when it comes to Tom’s alleged crimes and that didn’t change when asked about Tom’s guilty verdict during the RHOBH reunion on Tuesday.
“It doesn’t really matter what I think, the law does,” she said. “That’s really where it is.”
Andy, 56, also questioned why she and Tom are not yet divorced.
“I don’t have an answer that other than my divorce attorney reached out to me the other day and was like, ‘We need to get on this.’ …That was the lowest of my problems. Like, what difference does it make,” Erika admitted. “Divorcing an incompetent person? I don’t really know how that works.”
Despite all the ups and downs over the past few years, Erika said her relationship with her son, Tommy Zizzo, has gotten stronger — which is all that matters. (Tommy testified in ASAP Rocky’s assault trial earlier this year. Erika said she found out “the night before” Tommy took the stand.)

Todd Williamson/Bravo Erika Jayne reflected on her mental state after getting dragged into estranged husband Tom Girardi’s legal troubles. “There was nothing hopeful on the horizon for years. That’s when you’re like, ‘Well why am here?’” Erika, 52, said during her two-part Bravo special Bet It All on Blonde, which premiered on Wednesday, March 6. […]
“The one thing I gained out of all of it was a closer relationship with my child and, this sound hokey, but It really is true,” Erika said on Tuesday. “Great, if that’s what it took to lose everything to really strengthen my bond with my son, fine.”
The Pretty Mess author also told Andy that the version of her people see today is the real Erika.
“These women have known me being married and holding up the walls of a crumbling marriage and just shambles and legal scandals and all of this stuff,” she said. “Then going through a dark period where I was mad and drinking and acting a fool and being mean to everybody. Now you see me emerge. It is my nature to be more this way than what you’ve seen — that vicious on-guard animal.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
