Sutton Stracke is sharing an update on her friendship with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costar Garcelle Beauvais.
The twosome were inseparable for five seasons on the Bravo reality show, but after Garcelle, 58, announced her departure from the show in March and unfollowed the majority of her castmates, fans have been speculating where she and Sutton, 53, stand now.
During the RHOBH season 14 reunion, Garcelle appeared upset that her friend didn’t stick up for her as she had heated conversations with Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Bozoma Saint John and Erika Jayne.
In an interview on the Tuesday, May 6, episode of SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live, host Jeff Lewis said that “it seemed [Garcelle] was most hurt” by Sutton, prompting the Sutton Concept founder to explain her side of things.

“I’m sorry for that. I would never want to hurt Garcelle intentionally. I’m sorry that she feels that way, and I’m sorry that it went down like that,” Sutton said.
“I’m hoping I can rectify things later. Sometimes, I think when you’re really close with someone and you get hurt in the relationship, you need time away to heal. I’m hoping that we can rectify and fix everything,” Sutton added.
“I think that down the road, Garcelle and I really need to have a long, thoughtful conversation that’s private,” Sutton continued. “I just hate that this has happened. Garcelle was a very good friend and I love her dearly.”
As for their last conversation, Sutton said that she spoke to Garcelle back in March when the latter announced her RHOBH exit. “She just said, ‘I couldn’t talk to anybody because I knew that you would convince me not to leave.’ That’s quite true,” she explained.
Last month, Sutton told Us Weekly that she was still processing her longtime pal’s departure.
“I think we were all sort of in shock,” Sutton, 53, exclusively shared at Us + Maidenform’s Reality Star Style Awards party on April 22. “But Garcelle is a very strong woman so she’s going to make her decision and do what she’s going to do. I just want her to live her best life and be happy.”
At the time, Sutton said she was optimistic their friendship could get back on track following Garcelle’s decision to unfollow her and other RHOBH stars on Instagram.
“I am hopeful,” she said. “I am just hoping that Garcelle is good and happy and on the path that she wants to be on, which I know she is.”
