RHOC’s Emily Simpson Teases Tamra Judge and Gretchen Rossi’s ‘Toxic Feud’ (Exclusive)

Grab the popcorn because one of The Real Housewives of Orange County’s biggest feuds is about to be reignited.

Days after Bravo released the trailer for season 19, cast member Emily Simpson revealed even more about what’s to come with Tamra Judge and Gretchen Rossi’s challenging relationship.

“I would say that there’s been this ongoing toxic feud between the two of them since the Jurassic period at this point,” Emily, 49, exclusively shared with Us Weekly while celebrating the LSPACE x Aloha collaboration launch at Swirl Boutique in Carlsbad, California. “Personally, I feel like I would have gotten over it, but neither one of them has.”

As a result, viewers will get to see the pair come face to face once again as they attempt to hash out their differences.

After Us Weekly confirmed that Gretchen will appear as a “friend” of the cast for season 19, many costars were quick to welcome her with open arms. “Welcome Back @gretchenrossi!” Heather Dubrow wrote via […]

“You get to witness a lot of history, a lot of references to the past,” Emily teased. “I’ll just say that – a lot of past references.”

Tamra, 57, and Gretchen, 46, filmed The Real Housewives of Orange County together during seasons 4 through 8. One of the pair’s most memorable moments came when Tamra tried to get her costar “naked wasted” at a dinner party.

In January, Us confirmed that Gretchen would be returning to the show as a friend for season 19.

Although Emily has known Gretchen for nearly 10 years, the host of iHeartRadio’s “Legally Brunette” podcast said she was surprised at her newest costar’s behavior during the season.

“I think her return was different than what I expected and I’ll just leave it at that,” Emily teased while wearing LSPACE’s tala maxi dress. “I had different expectations of what Gretchen would be like, and I would say she was different than what I envisioned.”

Season 19, however, won’t be centered on just two people’s drama. Emily is excited for the Bravo show to highlight her work with The Innocence Center, a nonprofit that works to free the wrongfully convicted from prison.

She also hopes fans will get to see an honest look at her family life as she navigates her marriage to Shane Simpson and raising three kids.

“There’s a lot of family things, a lot of family dynamics with Shane and me and the children,” Emily shared. “I hope that it resonates with other moms. At the end of the day, I’m a mom first, not a Housewife.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County returns to Bravo on Thursday, July 10, at 9 p.m. ET. Catch up on old seasons anytime on Peacock.
