Heather Gay has been a staple of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City since its 2020 premiere, but she’s gone through quite the glow-up.
Not only has Heather stepped up her style game throughout her five-season tenure on the Bravo hit, but her body has also transformed. In November 2023, Heather revealed that she was “on the Ozempic train.” While she hadn’t seen “massive results” from using the medication, Heather did notice another change.
“You lose five pounds, people are nicer to you,” she told People at the time. “It’s just the way the world works and that makes me sad for women. But happy that I’m down five.”
By the time RHOSLC season 5 premiered in September 2024, Heather had lost 25 pounds.
“I guess when I was heavier, I was more of an underdog. So it was OK when I stuck up for myself. Season 1 Heather had a lot more confidence than this girl,” she said during the season 5 reunion special when asked whether her newfound “edge” was a side effect of her transformation.
Heather added that she felt “happy” and “proud” of the changes she’s made. “You have to have a lot more confidence to show up when no clothes fit. I’m wearing a stretchy jumpsuit, I’m next to all these beautiful women. … I am different, but it has nothing to do with the fact that I took medication that made me lose weight,” she explained.
