Pro golfer Rory McIlroy is building a new home in London.
His admission came amid rumors that he and wife Erica Stoll were contemplating a move to the U.K. with their 4-year-old daughter, Poppy, though McIlroy, 35, stopped short of saying the couple was moving there permanently.
“We first went to London with Erica and Poppy to see our new home that we’re building and we made the trip over to Belfast to see a few other people that are important to us,” McIlroy told reporters on Wednesday, April 23.
McIlroy is still basking in the glow of his Masters win earlier this month in Augusta. It gave him a career grand slam, and he has since returned to his home in Northern Ireland to celebrate with family and friends.
