Lady Marina Windsor is tying the knot!
The British royal, 32, is engaged to her fiancé Nico Macauley, she announced on Instagram on Sunday, June 8.
Lady Marina posted three photos with the caption, “Very happy! 💞🎊🌸.” In the first, she held her hand up to show off her engagement ring, which appears to feature an onyx cushion cut stone, while smiling beside Macauley. In the second, Marina flashed her ring in a solo shot, while in the third, the happy couple celebrated with champagne.
Marina, who works as Philanthropic Executive at The Big Give, and Macauley, who is an account executive with Zscaler, have been dating for two years, Tatler reports.
Her engagement was met with plenty of excitement on Instagram, where Marina’s sister Lady Amelia Windsor commented, “Yippeeee!” and her brother Edward Windsor, Lord Downpatrick, quipped, “So the hazing begins.”
Flora Vesterberg, granddaughter of Princess Alexandra, a first cousin of the late Queen Elizabeth, added, “Love you! Happiest news xx.”
Marina is second cousins with King Charles; her grandfather, Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, is first cousins with the late Queen through their respective fathers, brothers Prince George, Duke of Kent, and King George VI.
Edward is 42nd in line to the throne, while Marina used to be 25th, but was removed from the line of succession when she converted to Roman Catholicism at age 16 in 2008, per Sky News.

When the Succession to the Crown Act was changed in 2015 to permit Catholics to marry into the royal family without losing their succession to the crown, Marina remained excluded from succession, the outlet reports.
Marina announced her engagement on the anniversary of her paternal grandparents’ 1961 wedding, according to Tatler, which reports that the royal “is long thought to be close” with Prince Edward and Katharine, Duchess of Kent, and often stays at their Kensington Palace residence when she visits London.
