Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola is a mom!
The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star and her fiancé, Justin May, welcomed their first baby together, son Vincent Keith May, on Wednesday, Aug. 20, revealing the happy news on Instagram on Tuesday, Aug. 26.
The joint post featured the first snaps of their little one, including one of him swaddled in a blue-and-white striped blanket, and several shots of the newly minted family of three. The last image showed Giancola and May posing outside the hospital holding their bundle of joy.
“Welcome to the world my rainbow miracle baby 🥹🍼 Vincent Keith May August 20, 2025,” she wrote in the caption. “😭 After this very long journey to get here, words cannot describe how blessed and truly grateful we are. Forever living in our baby love bubble until further notice 🥹♥️.”
The baby boy’s arrival comes after Giancola and May announced they were expecting their first baby together in a joint Instagram post on Sunday, Feb. 23. In addition to sharing that the baby’s due date was August, Giancola reflected on the couple’s journey to parenthood.
“After struggling through years of infertility, this is the absolute greatest blessing we could ever possibly ask for! We are so thrilled to finally be able to share the news of our little miracle with you all! Our hearts have never been so full of love, we can’t wait to meet you baby! 🫶🏼🥹💕,” the caption read.
Giancola previously revealed during the Nov. 21, 2024 episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation that she and May had experienced a miscarriage before their engagement.
The reality star revealed in an Instagram post on April 1, 2024, that the two had gotten engaged on March 16, 2024.
“Life update: Fiancé 💍🥹♥️ 3.16.24 The easiest question I’ve ever answered.. happiest & luckiest girl in the world 😭 I’ll love you forever, and then some 🤍 #Futurewifey #Engaged,” she wrote next to a series of photos from their special day.
The two first went public with their relationship over Thanksgiving weekend in 2021.
This past May, Giancola revealed that she was expecting a boy, sharing the news exclusively with PEOPLE. The couple found out the news on the Seaside Boardwalk along with the rest of Giancola’s Jersey Shore: Family Vacation cast after cannons shot up blue powder into the air.

“I think we were just happy to have a healthy baby. We didn’t care about gender at all, but we kind of had a feeling what it was,” Giancola told PEOPLE.
Both she and May said they were excited to start thinking about activities they can do as a family together, with May noting: “I can’t wait to just play sports. Teaching my kid, coaching the Little League teams and stuff. It’s going to be exciting.”
Giancola said that was something that made her “heart melt.”
“Yeah, I’m just happy to have any baby. To be honest. I’m like, it’s a boy. I’m one of three girls, so I have two sisters. So for me, it’s very exciting to have a boy,” she said.
