Longtime loves Hawn and Russell raised three children: Kate Hudson, Oliver Hudson, Boston Russell and Wyatt Russell

It's only natural that A-listers like Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell raised stars.
The couple, who have been together since 1983, are proud parents to Hawn's two kids from her previous marriage to Bill Hudson, Kate and Oliver, and Kurt's son with ex-wife Season Hubley, Boston. Together, they also welcomed son Wyatt in 1986. Kate, Oliver and Wyatt grew up to become successful actors, but they've been immersed in the Hollywood world since childhood, attending red carpets and industry parties with their parents. Boston, on the other hand, prefers life outside the spotlight.
Still, the actors made sure their children understood that they had to work for success.
"My parents were so adamant about how none of it belonged to us, that we didn't earn it. That in order to get a life [like the one] we were living, we had to earn it ourselves," Kate said on the Happy Sad Confused podcast. "That would never be available to us unless we had the same kind of work ethic."
As father-son duo Kurt and Wyatt release season 2 of their Apple TV series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters on Feb. 27, 2026, see the family of five's most adorable throwback photos over the years.

Candid Moment

Kate rang in Hawn's 78th birthday with a childhood photo captured on film, writing that her mother taught them how "profoundly imperfect" life is. "My Mama didn’t wait around to get the perfect pic. In fact she has few pics of all of us together because she let us run around and be in the moment," she wrote in part.
"The ones she does are always a little silly, a little blurry, half smiles, half cries, chocolate faces and unbrushed hair," she added. "She gave us freedom, let us be wild, loved us endlessly and we got the pictures to prove it."

"He gave me the gift of confidence instilling a knowingness in me that I deserved everything I worked for and I knew that he’d always have my back in whatever challenges may lay ahead," Kate continued. "When you have a dad who gives you permission to be confident you live courageously."
