Love is in the air!
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco had a date night at what appeared to be Lil Dicky’s wedding, according to an Aug. 10 Instagram post the “Who Says” singer shared recapping the event.
The actor-rapper (born David Burd) appeared to marry girlfriend Kristin Batalucco on Saturday, Aug. 9, with longtime friend Blanco, 37, and his fiancée Gomez, 33, in attendance at the nuptials. (Reps for Lil Dicky did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s inquiry on Aug. 10.)
The I Said I Love You First collaborators appeared to have a fun time at the event, as Gomez shared several snaps of herself, guests, the bride and groom — and, of course, Blanco.
In the first snap in the post — which the Rare Beauty founder cheekily captioned, “About last nights wedding 💒” — she planted a kiss on Blanco’s cheek as the producer held on to her hand and looked into the camera.
The singer rocked a striking red lip for the event, a perfect match with the backless, high-neck gown she wore in an identical shade. She styled her hair in a sleek, wavy updo, and accessorized with a pair of heels — also bright red — adorned with a dainty bow. As a couple, the pair opted against complementary looks, with Blanco sporting a bright blue suit.
Gomez shared a closer look at the couple’s wedding date outfits — and the scents they paired with them — on Instagram Stories. The duo tapped into Rare Beauty’s new lineup of fragrances, which Gomez helped her fiancé apply to his wrists in a video. The star giggled while taking a video of the producer rubbing the product into his wrists.
Other pictures in Gomez’s wedding roundup show Lil Dicky and Batalucco together on a dance floor, the “Naturally” singer smiling as she posed with the bride, and Blanco proudly snapping photos of Lil Dicky, his close friend and collaborator.
Lil Dicky and Blanco frequently document their friendship on social media — including a recent birthday tribute the rapper shared — and appear in each other’s projects. Lil Dicky joined the cookbook author on Matty and Benny Eat Out America (his show with The Bear star Matty Matheson) in 2020, the same year Blanco made his TV acting debut in Lil Dicky’s show Dave.
Blanco didn’t share a post of his own from the event, but reposted the photo of Gomez kissing his cheek. He shared the picture on Instagram Stories, and set it to “Chapel of Love” by The Dixie Cups.
The producer also reposted Gomez’s shot of Lil Dicky and Batalucco, once again set to “Chapel of Love.” Alongside it, he wrote, “Oh chuck.”
Shortly before their date night at Lil Dicky’s wedding, Gomez opened up about her own wedding plans while appearing on Therapuss with Jake Shane on Aug. 6.

The couple — who met while collaborating on “I Can’t Get Enough” in 2019 — announced their engagement in December 2024. Though the bulk of wedding planning is still ahead of them, Gomez said on Therapuss that she can’t wait to marry the music producer.
“I couldn’t be more excited,” she said, adding that she has “never really felt so sure about something.”
Gomez also said that the duo is currently in the midst of their “own personal endeavors,” but once things slow down professionally, they will begin to get into “all the nitty-gritty” of planning the ceremony.
