Selena Gomez is giving her face a break after attending back-to-back events in full glam.
Gomez looked fresh in a makeup-free selfie shared on her Instagram Stories on Friday, Jan. 16. In the photo, Gomez, 33, wears a white tank top and has her hair slicked back into a bun. She smiles while lounging against a blush pink backdrop. The Rare Beauty founder shared the snap after posting a series of glam shots from a Rare Beauty and Tezza collaboration event.
Tezza, a lifestyle brand founded by Tezza Barton, collaborated with Rare Beauty on a new product for Gomez’s makeup line — Warm Wishes Soft Matte Powder Bronzer, which dropped Thursday, Jan. 15.
Gomez first launched Rare Beauty in 2020, saying that she wanted to create a brand that encouraged people to start “embracing our own uniqueness.” “You’re not defined by a photo, a like or a comment,” Gomez said at the time of the launch. “Rare Beauty isn’t about how other people see you. It’s about how you see yourself.”
The glamorous collab comes shortly after Gomez attended the Golden Globes on Jan. 11 alongside her Only Murders in the Building costars. Gomez was nominated for Best Actress in a Television Series — Music or Comedy. Hacks’ Jean Smart took the trophy for the award.
After the ceremony, Gomez and husband Benny Blanco joined Martin Short, Steve Martin, and the show’s executive producers Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal for dinner at Max & Helen’s, Phil Rosenthal and Nancy Silverton’s Los Angeles diner.
“Breakfast for dinner after globes,” Gomez wrote on her Instagram Stories snap.
