Shaboozey is happy to confirm Jelly Roll is just as cool as he appears.
“Jelly Roll is the nicest, sweetest person,” Shaboozey, 30, exclusively shared with Us Weekly on Wednesday, May 28, while discussing Coors Light’s “Chill on Shuffle” music platform. “He’s the humblest. You wouldn’t even think he was a celebrity, to be honest.”
While some A-list stars may come with big egos or appear to be unapproachable, Jelly Roll, 40, isn’t about that life, according to his latest collaborator.
“You think he was just someone working at the venues, honestly,” Shaboozey said with a laugh. “That’s really it. I got nothing else to say.”
Last month, the country music stars joined forces on a new track titled “Amen.” The song appears on the deluxe version of Shaboozey’s latest album, Where I’ve Been Isn’t Where I’m Going.
It’s one of the many songs Shaboozey hopes to perform when he kicks off his first headlining tour, “The Great American Road Show,” this September.
“First of all, I’m really excited just because it’s sponsored by Coors Light. It’s cool to see after every show, coming off the stage, there’s gonna be a cold Coors Light with the mountains blue sitting right in front of me for me and my band and everyone to enjoy,” Shaboozey shared. “The rooms are gonna be a lot bigger, so just being able to see more and more faces of people that hopefully enjoy the music and want to get to know me and me getting to know them [is something] I’m excited about too.”
Before he hits the road, Shaboozey is taking a moment to celebrate how far he’s come.
Thanks to hit songs like “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and “Good News,” the country artist has had the opportunity to perform at countless awards shows, including the 2025 Grammys and 2024 BET Awards.
He’s also had the chance to attend major events like the 2025 Met Gala in New York.

“With the space I’m occupying and the story and everything I’ve been doing,” Shaboozey told Us, “it feels like everything I’m doing hasn’t really been done before.”
This week, Shaboozey is hoping to make a few fans’ dreams come true with Coors Light. Now through Friday, May 30, fans who search “Coors Light on Shuffle” on the Instacart app in eligible states will be brought to a secret landing page for a chance to win unique prizes that amplify any music experience.
“I was going back and listening to some of the older songs I’ve written, and I realized the amount of times I mentioned Coors Light is crazy,” Shaboozey said with a laugh. “To finally be able to partner with them has been awesome. … I can’t wait to just continue to build out these experiences and continue to bring Coors Light to the fans.”
