Shadowhunters Costars Alberto Rosende and Tessa Mossey Marry in Prince Edward Island Wedding

Congratulations are in order for Alberto Rosende and Tessa Mossey.

The Shadowhunters stars tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony on Sunday, July 27, Mossey shared in an Instagram reel. She and Rosende, who starred as Heidi McKenzie and Simon Lewis on the supernatural drama series, have been linked publicly at least since 2019.

In a collection of Instagram stories, shared by Mossey’s relative Trisha Mossey, the bride’s look was on full display: a gathered, textured gown, a lace veil with a train, and a collection of white flowers and greenery as her wedding bouquet.

Mossey walked down the aisle escorted by her mother, she shared on her own Instagram story. A small group of loved ones gathered to witness the couple say “I do” against a lakeside backdrop on Prince Edward Island.

“Celebrating the union of these two genuine souls, whose love is so pure and tender, has been one of the loveliest and heartwarming wedding celebrations I’ve ever experienced,” the couple’s friend, Dominique Domingo, wrote over a video of the couple’s first kiss.

Rosende and Mossey posed alongside their parents for a family photo, per a story shared by their friend Daniel Kyri. Trisha Mossey later shared a snap of the wedding couple at their reception, all smiles as they celebrated their big day surrounded by friends and family.

On July 28, the couple started off their married life with drinks on the beach, toasting with a pair of Colliding Tides’ hard seltzer to kick off their honeymoon.
