Shakira is shaking off a recent concert mishap.
The “Waka Waka” singer took a spill onstage during a stop on her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran Tour in Montreal, Canada, resulting in an unexpected deviation from her usual choreography.
In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter) May 20, the 48-year-old appeared to slip while performing her 2001 single “Whenever, Wherever.” Fortunately, she was able to break her fall and quickly got back on her feet to continue the number.
Shakira—who shares kids Milan, 12, and Sasha, 10, with ex Gerard Piqué—later appeared to take the slip in stride as she reshared a clip of the incident in a since-expired post her Instagram Stories, as seen in a screen recording posted on X. Underneath the footage, she wrote via Spanish translation, “Because no one is saved from falls!”
Since kicking off her world tour in Brazil in February, Shakira has dealt with a number of unexpected hiccups including an illness that forced her to cancel a show in Peru.
