Shannon Beador is teasing what fans can expect from Gretchen Rossi’s return to The Real Housewives of Orange County.
“I am excited about it, and she’s very kind,” Beador, 60, exclusively told Us Weekly of Rossi, 46, while promoting her, Dolores Catania and Teresa Giudice’s upcoming Wives on the Waves Cruise by Fans at Sea. “She’s been nothing but sweet to me, so I think she’s going to be a good addition.”
Beador added that the RHOC cast “just started filming” season 19 recently and a lot has been brewing.
“We’re just finished week three — and the drama’s already starting,” she teased.

Us confirmed last month that Rossi would be returning to the Bravo series as a “friend.” News of Rossi’s casting came shortly after Alexis Bellino confirmed she was not coming back for season 19.
Season 18 was a rough period for Beador. Not only was she dealing with the consequences of her DUI arrest, but she also found herself at odds with Bellino, 48. The women sparked a feud after Bellino got engaged to Beador’s ex John Janssen.
Catania and Giudice — who star on The Real Housewives of New Jersey — jumped in to applaud Beador for her strength as she powered through last season.
“This will be a breeze for you this year,” Catania, 54, said to Beador. “You were good. You handled it.”
Both Catania and Giudice, 52, shared that they were ready to hop on a plane to Southern California to defend Beador.
“I wanted to come on [RHOC] and fight,” Catania joked and Giudice chimed in to agree. “Me and Teresa were ready to make a cameo.”
Giudice shared that Beador is her and Catania’s “friend” — and the RHOC star expressed her gratitude for the both of them.

Beador, Giudice and Catania’s friendship has the chance to grow even stronger now that they will be sailing off together later this year. The trio are embarking on the Wives on the Waves cruise from September 19 to 24. The five-day trip on the new Norwegian Cruise Line Escape ship departs from New York City to Bermuda.
“We’re so excited because it’s going to be a fun experience for us to be with fans and have fun,” Beador gushed.
The trip will include a chance to mix and mingle with the Housewives in addition to meeting other fellow Bravo fans. There will also be activities on board the cruise ship. Packages for the Housewives-themed trip start at $900.
