Sheinelle Jones’ colleagues are sending her love from afar.
Amid the Today cohost’s continued absence, Craig Melvin, Dylan Dreyer and Al Roker shared an update with viewers, with Craig confirming he’s spoken to her recently.
“I just talked to her a couple days ago—she’s taking some time to be with her family and we talk to her all the time,” he said during Today’s April 11 broadcast. “We love our girl. It’s been nice to see how much everyone else loves her, too.”
Dylan, meanwhile, confirmed Sheinelle would eventually return to Rockefeller Center.
“She misses being here,” the 43-year-old noted. “She wishes she was here with us, but she’s doing what she needs to do.”
To which Al added, “We’re just praying for her.”
E! News has reached out to reps for Today and Sheinelle for comment but has not heard back.
The update comes three months after Sheinelle, who last appeared on the NBC Morning show in December, shared she’d be taking a step back from the morning news show through a message shared to social media.
