The 2024 Summer Olympics may be long gone, but Simone Biles is still keeping busy.
While chronicling her travels for the Kentucky Derby on her Instagram Stories on Friday, May 2, the Olympic athlete, 28, gave a glimpse of her next business venture — a restaurant in partnership with The Playmakers Group inside George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH).
While the Houston-based airport first announced the restaurant, called “Taste of Gold,” last September, Biles said she had not had a chance to check it out until now.

“On my way to Louisville for the Kentucky derby and I finally got to see my restaurant at the airport !!!!!!” she wrote over a photo of herself posing in front of the restaurant.
The image showed Biles proudly smiling from ear to ear as she extended one hand in the air and the other to her side in front of a wall that said, “COMING SOON SIMONE BILES TASTE OF GOLD.” The wall had a painted flag and silhouettes of gymnasts.
Although the new restaurant is far from the world of gymnastics, its name certainly pays homage to Biles’ beloved sport.
As fans recall, Biles went to Paris to compete in the 2024 Summer Olympics with seven medals and returned with four more, including gold in the women’s all-around and individual vault final.
According to a press release, Taste of Gold will “celebrate Biles’s remarkable global achievements.”
“The chef-crafted menu will feature signature food and beverage items curated by restaurant industry innovator Mark Brezinski and created to ‘wow’ every traveler,” the press release said.
It is currently under construction inside IAH Terminal A and will open near Gate A8.
While the restaurant was set to open in the first quarter of 2025, a new opening date has not been announced. PEOPLE reached out to the Houston Airports Communications Office for comment.
“I am very excited to partner with The Playmakers Group and their dedicated team to help bring a new restaurant to my hometown airport,” said Biles in a press statement.
“I am a foodie at heart, and our hope with Taste of Gold is to offer a beautiful dining experience that features award-winning, signature menu items with some of my favorite flavors sprinkled in for our guests,” her statement continued.
