Simone Biles’ Birkin is a designer bag that will go the distance.
Biles, 27, showed off her new Birkin via Instagram on Tuesday, January 21, while taking a trip to Zurich, Switzerland, with husband Johnathan Owens. While strolling around the city, she carried her Hermès bag, handmade in brown leather with the signature gold “lock” closure.
The gymnast teamed her look with a fuzzy emerald green coat featuring wide lapels and multiple pockets, plus black leggings and white Adidas Samba sneakers.
Biles donned a soft smile while posing for the camera. Elsewhere on social media, Biles shared a mirror selfie of her and Owens, 29. The Chicago Bears safety bundled up in a black hoodie and a puffer coat. He teamed his top with tan bottoms with a creased front.
Throughout their day, the couple enjoyed mimosas, shopping for fur coats and Biles even posted a video of her getting “iced” — which is when you come across a Smirnoff Ice and have to take a knee and chug the bottle. She giggled in the clip while finishing off half the drink.
Biles and Owens’ getaway comes shortly after their stop in New York City, when she purchased her beloved Birkin bag. During her shopping trip, Biles shared a snap of the accessory via Instagram.
“Treated myself to a new lil baby while in New York,” she captioned a reel of the bag, which, according to Maison de Luxe, retails for $34,000. “Johnathan came for emotional support, baby I was sweaaaating.”
Biles is also the proud owner of an Hermès Kelly bag, which she teased after becoming the most decorated gymnast at the 2024 summer Paris Olympics. Her Kelly, which has a long crossbody hook and small hand straps, retails for $30,000 and is complete with silver hardware. Like Biles and Owens, consider the Birkin and the Kelly a perfect pair.
