Skai Jackson is sharing adorable photos of her baby boy!
Jackson, 23, shared an Instagram carousel of photos of her son Kasai on Friday, July 18. “Kasai 💙 6 months,” she wrote in the caption. In the photos, Kasai is wearing blue and white striped overalls as he smiles alongside a fluffy gray and white dog, and plays with toys.
One Instagram user wrote, “The one with the pink ball, I cannot!!! An angel!!! 🥺💞👼🏽.” Others also shared kind words about Kasai, with one person writing, “Omg 😍😍😍. He is just too Handsome 💙💙💙.”
The former Disney Channel star, known for her roles in Disney Channel series Jessie and Bunk’d, announced that she welcomed the little one in January. PEOPLE exclusively confirmed in November 2024 that Jackson was expecting her first baby with her ex-boyfriend Deondre Burgin.
In May, Jackson filed a request for a restraining order in L.A. County Superior Court against Burgin, 21, alleging domestic violence. In documents previously obtained by PEOPLE, Jackson claimed that Burgin assaulted her on Mother’s Day, while she was holding their newborn son. She alleged that Burgin grabbed her by the hair, slammed her head against a car window and punched her in the face.
A source told PEOPLE at the time that she filed the request for a restraining order to protect her family.
“The safety and well-being of her family is the top priority,” the insider said. “This restraining order was filed as a necessary measure to protect her and her child from continued harassment and threats.”
On Monday, July 14, Burgin was arrested on a charge of aggravated robbery in an alleged carjacking with help from an FBI task force, PEOPLE confirmed.
