Sophie Turner is sharing her secret to celebrating her daughters’ close birthdays.
During an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, the Game of Thrones star, 29, said that she hosts joint birthdays for her two daughters, Delphine, 3, and Willa, 5, who were born 18 days apart. Turner shares her two children with ex-husband Joe Jonas.
“Listen, they’re so young that it’s one birthday for both,” she explained. “I mean, they know they have separate birthdays, but it’s one party.”
When Meyers asked how long she thinks she’ll get away with having one birthday, the mom of two admitted, “I don’t know. As long as I can. Otherwise, it gets a bit expensive.”
The former couple welcomed their first daughter, Willa, in 2020, followed by her little sister, Delphine, in 2022. However, the parents have never shared photos of their daughters on social media, and they are careful to keep their girls out of the public eye.
In January 2023, the Jonas Brothers were honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. While Jonas’ daughters were not present for the special event, the musician, 36, gave them a shout-out during his acceptance speech. “To my little ones at home, Daddy loves you to the moon and back,” he said.
Jonas recently gave insight into his co-parenting relationship with his ex-wife during Jay Shetty’s On Purpose Live Tour in Hollywood, Fla. on Friday, May 23. In a TikTok video, Jonas can be heard telling Shetty that he has a “beautiful co-parenting relationship” with Turner.
“I have a beautiful coparenting relationship that I’m really grateful for,” he said. “Having an incredible mom, Sophie, for those girls is like a dream come true.”
“As young girls, looking up to great women is what I want for them,” he continued. “I think what values I want for them are to be open-minded and have a big heart, be able to walk into any room and feel confidence, and know that they can do literally anything they want.”

Despite their split, both Jonas and Turner continue to put their daughters first. While speaking at an Art Basel/ Miami Art Week event in December, Jonas opened up about his life as a father.
“As a parent myself, I’m also reliving childhood again through my kids’ eyes, which is just the best feeling,” he shared at the event held at 1 Hotel South Beach.
He continued to reflect on what “little Joe” would want for himself, and how he pursues that now as an adult.
“I’m really making sure that I’m able to have a lot of fun,” he said. “This is so amazing that we get the opportunity to be on this earth and do what we get to do. Whether it’s enjoying your career, or hopefully on your way to enjoy your career, and you’ve got great friends and great people around you, I think really being able to tap into, hypothetically, what little Joe would really be into is having fun with whatever it is.”
