- The bear-shaped cup is set to hit stores on Nov. 6
- The coffee company also announced its holiday menu filled with new drinks and treats
Starbucks’ new glass Bearista cold cup is already viral, and it’s not even out yet!
On Wednesday, Nov. 5, the coffee company revealed its latest beverage container amid an announcement that its holiday menu will hit stores nationwide on Thursday, Nov. 6.
The cup consists of a bear-shaped bottle with an adorable green beanie cap and the Starbucks logo placed perfectly on its belly. The design also comes with a green and white straw.
Starbucks gave the first look at the adorable cup in an Instagram Reel, consisting of a faceless barista preparing an iced coffee inside of the bear-shaped cup —while set to cheery holiday music.
“who’s getting a bearista cup on 11/6 lmk,” the post’s caption read.
In the comments section, the bear-shaped Bearista Cold Cup immediately became a fan favorite.
“My husband says I don’t need more cups… but he is most definitely wrong,” one person wrote in the comment section after seeing the chain’s latest cup.
“It’s not a want, it’s a need,” another said, while a third added, “If I don’t get one of these I’ll cry.”
In addition to the highly anticipated Glass Bearista Cold Cup, there’s also a Holiday Puppy Tumbler, Siren’s Tail Mug and more, alongside a limited-edition merchandise collaboration with Hello Kitty.
But these aren’t the only cups causing a commotion.
The chain is also set to debut its latest holiday cup designs for both hot and cold beverages, which are intended to evoke warmth, tradition, and togetherness. The Merry Apron Strings option is available for both hot and cold beverages, and there are also Coffeehouse Plaid designs.
“There’s something unmistakably magical about that moment the cups arrive–it’s as if the season officially begins,” Starbucks creative director Kristy Cameron said in a statement.
As for Starbucks’ holiday offerings, there’s also plenty of edible — and drinkable — new options, along with some returning favorites. See: the Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, the Sugar Cookie Latte and Iced Gingerbread Chai. The beloved Snowman Cookie will also be making a comeback.
New this season are polar-bear-shaped cake pops and Cinnamon Pull-Apart Bread.
